My old master bathroom had a tub/shower and it was very hard to get in an out of. I have a physical limitation which had gotten to the point where I could no longer bath. Dan was a true inspiration! He reconfigured the bathroom perfectly for me! He removed the tub and installed a low threshold shower with a large seat. Grab bars were added both inside and outside of the shower so I could easily move about with complete safety. The longer cord hand shower allows me to comfortably sit while I enjoy the warm, relaxing water.
He completely removed the door into the shower area and replaced it with a relocated pocket door – how genius! Now its so easy to enter the bathroom and there are no doors inside! I love it!!!
He expanded the closet out so I could have a much larger sink area and closet space. This allowed me to increase the sinks from one to two (I always wanted that). I mentioned to Dan how dark it was in the hall at night and the difficulty of seeing my way to the kitchen. Without me even asking, he installed LED bar lights on the shelf along the hall on a separate switch in my bedroom. Now when I get up at night I can see perfectly – what a sweet gesture – and he didn’t even charge me!!!
