Guest Bathroom and Bedroom Remodel
A year later DAD’s completed one more project for me, another complete guest bathroom and bedroom remodel and new carpet for the entire house. I am very happy with the options Dan suggested. The carpet is super soft and the green bathroom looks beautiful – check out the video on Facebook!

Laguna Beach Guest Bathroom and Bedroom Remodel with a Tub/Shower and Pony Wall
This City of Laguna Beach guest bathroom remodel included removing the existing bathtub and converting it to a tub/shower combination with a pony wall and full glass enclosure. A tiled step was added to make entering and exiting the tub safer and more convenient. A thermostatic valve was installed near the entrance for ease of use and operation.
Custom-made shampoo recesses on the back wall and inside portion of the pony wall were decorated with beautiful mosaic glass. This same mosaic glass was used in the tailor-made arch. The arch is accented by an above LED recess light fixture on a Kasa™ WiFi enabled dimmer.
New white Decora USB Type A/C receptacles with smart chip technology were used throughout.
The pocket door was replaced with an 8-foot hinged door using beautiful Baldwin® hardware.
The custom-made cabinet was constructed using real hardwoods (not sawdust and glue) and finished in an ultra-premium white low luster paint.
The installed radiant floor heating system features the sleek nSpire Touch Programmable Thermostat. Feet will never be cold again!
The fixtures are brass with a polished chrome finish. The new one-piece Toto® Washlet® toilet has an intuitive remote that offers personalized settings. The soft close temperature controlled heated seat, front and rear warm water cleansing, warm air drying, and automatic air deodorizer elevates hygiene and comfort.
The Guest Bedroom was also Remodeled.
The walls and ceiling were made smooth and covered in new ultra-premium paint. The crown, base, case, hinged/sliding/French doors, and shelving were sanded and made smooth with new ultra-premium primers and paint applied.
New four-inch adjustable gimble LED recess lights on Kasa™ Smart™ WiFi enabled dimmers and switches were added. All the old outlets (plugs) were replaced with new white Decora appliances. New NHT super-premium ceiling speakers were installed that deliver an audio performance well beyond your expectations.
New premium Fabrica® carpet in a custom texture, pattern, and color was installed throughout the house.

Everything installed is very solid, durable, and placed with care and perfection. The towel bars, tissue holder, and sink light fixtures have solid wall cavity blocking for strength and durability. This aging in place bathroom has wall cavity blocking all around the inside tub/shower perimeter for future grab bars. The one-piece chair height toilet with nightlight allows for easier sitting and use. All the polished chrome fixtures are made by Newport Brass®. These forged solid brass fixtures define luxury with timeless craftmanship for long-lasting beauty and performance.
The 3/8-inch thick, crystal clear tempered shower glass has a special factory applied shield that protects the glass against dirt, grime, and soap scum. This glass repels water, making glass surfaces easy to clean while preserving their appearance.
The 12-inch by 24-inch premium quality porcelain tiles have minimal prism grout. The corners and edges have a satin nickel anodized metal finish for a sleek, decorative, modern look for a discreet transition.
