In case you’re not familiar with Zillow, according to their web site “Zillow is the leading real estate and rental marketplace dedicated to empowering consumers with data, inspiration and knowledge around the place they call home.” Zillow says they have a living database of over 110 million U.S. Homes.
Here is what Zillow determined.
Keep in mind the colors illustrated here are computer generated – on my computer! These colors are going to look different on your phone, tablet, laptop, and workstation. And yes, the actual paint color in the paint can itself is going to look different than what you see on your device.
The important thing here are the paint color names. Careful! Every paint brand and manufacturer have their own name for “Soft Blue Gray”, “Light Pink”, etc. When you’re looking for “Soft Blue Gray”, ask a professional color consultant in the paint store itself. Don’t ask your painter! More often than not, his or her interpretation of “Soft Blue Gray” will be different than yours and that of all the paint stores!
